The Story Behind the Collection

In the days leading up to the Carolina Herrera Fall 26 runway show, Creative Director Wes Gordon takes us behind the scenes of the collection’s creation—from his first inspirations and early mornings in New York to the atelier, model fittings and final preparations. As each look comes to life, silhouettes are refined, proportions are perfected and the final runway lineup takes shape. The calla lily emerges as a defining motif throughout the collection, reimagined through sculptural silhouettes, intricate embroidery and exceptional craftsmanship.

Celebrating Women and Art

Inspired by generations of women who have shaped the art world, the Carolina Herrera Fall 26 collection celebrates female creativity and self-expression. Artists and creatives Rachel Feinstein, Flora Currin, Eliza Douglas, Hannah Traore, Anh Duong, Amy Sherald and Ming Smith joined the runway, bringing the collection’s celebration of women in the arts to life.

For the Carolina Herrera Fall 26 runway show, makeup artist James Kaliardos and hairstylist Jimmy Paul worked alongside Creative Director Wes Gordon to shape the beauty direction for each look. Scenic artist Sarah Oliphant transformed the New York runway space with a series of hand-painted murals, creating an artistic setting for the collection.
