Women Behind Herrera

As part of Carolina Herrera for Women in the Arts, the House introduces Women Behind Herrera, a new editorial chapter dedicated to the women shaping the brand’s creative voice from behind the scenes.

This series of editorial capsules highlights the collaborators who contribute to Carolina Herrera’s visual and narrative identity through their work on real projects. Working across different roles within the creative process, these women bring their own perspective to the House, influencing how each story is developed and expressed.

Rather than focusing on a single discipline, Women Behind Herrera offers a broader view of the creative ecosystem surrounding the brand. It recognizes the role of those who operate within the process, whose decisions, instincts, and expertise shape the final result.

Through these collaborations, the series aims to provide insight into the people behind the work, documenting their contribution, their approach, and the way they engage with the Carolina Herrera universe.

Our Projects

Sibylle de Tavernost

WOMEN BEHIND HERRERA
For Stallion Leather Sirocco, textile artist Sibylle de Tavernost was invited to translate the fragrance’s equestrian spirit into form. Her stylized landscape extends across the bottle and packaging, introducing a dialogue between textile practice and perfumery.

Lucia Massari

WOMEN BEHIND HERRERA
To mark ten years of Good Girl, Venetian designer Lucia Massari curated a reinterpretation of the iconic stiletto bottle through Murano glass. Bringing together different hands and traditions, the project explores how material can shift meaning while remaining rooted in heritage.

Sarah Oliphant

WOMEN BEHIND HERRERA
For Fall 26, scenic artist Sarah Oliphant was invited to shape the runway environment through a series of hand-painted murals. Working at scale, her approach transforms space through color, gesture, and material, offering a new perspective on how a collection is experienced.
