Spring 26 Runway

Spring 26 is a love letter to Madrid – a city of contrast, precision, boldness, and beauty – seen through the kaleidoscopic lens of Carolina Herrera.

Staged in the historic Plaza Mayor, our Spring 26 runway show paid tribute to the city’s rhythm and contrasts. Inspired by its bold spirit and timeless beauty, Wes Gordon unveiled a collection alive with sculptural silhouettes, dramatic sleeves, reimagined ruffles and florals that bloomed in vibrant hues.

The Collection

The Spring 26 collection was inspired by Madrid, capturing the city’s rhythm, contrasts and appetite for life. Its vivid palette balanced boldness and romance – from saffron yellow and Herrera red to deep Rioja, Violeta lilac, crisp white, graphic black and bright pink. At its heart, carnations, violetas and Retiro roses bloomed in embroidery and jacquard, symbols of the city woven throughout the collection.

The collection’s textures and tailoring connected heritage with modernity. Golden jacquard recalled brocades, plaid wool echoed Plaza Mayor’s cobblestones, and lace trims and lurex embroidery evoked mantillas and trellises. Polka dots – a Herrera code – appeared in new iterations, while tailoring featured trapeze shapes, matador-inspired hip structures and slim tapered trousers. Signature sleeves and ruffled skirts drew from the chulapas and were reinterpreted as timeless Herrera classics.
