1980

Carolina Herrera joins the International Best Dressed Hall of Fame.

1981

With the encouragement of legendary Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, Carolina Herrera shows her first collection at New York's exclusive Metropolitan Club, which becomes an immediate success.

1986

Carolina Herrera designs Caroline Kennedy's wedding gown.

1987

Carolina Herrera introduces her first Bridal Collection.

1988

Carolina Herrera launches her first fragrance.

1991

Carolina Herrera launches her first men's fragrance, Carolina Herrera for Men. A fresh, masculine Eau de Toilette with tremendous character, imbued with charm and elegance.

1996

Carolina Herrera de Baez joins as creative director at Herrera's House of Fragrances.

Launch of 212 Men

2000

Carolina Herrera opens her first flagship boutique on Madison Avenue and 75th Street in a four-story landmark building.

2001

Herrera introduces CH Carolina Herrera, a lifestyle collection with ready-to-wear and accessories for men, women and children. The first store opens in Madrid, Spain.

2004

Carolina Herrera receives the Council of Fashion Designers of America "Womenswear Designer of the year" and the Glamour "Woman of the Year award".

2007

CH Carolina Herrera fragrance is born. The CH Carolina Herrera fragrance is an invisible accessory, the final touch, the last detail, the perfect balance between comfort and freshness. It is sensual and complex, and at the same time fresh and optimistic.

2008

The Council of Fashion Designers of America honors Carolina Herrera with the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award

2010

Herrera receives the distinguished “Mercedes-Benz Presents” title for her Spring collection

2011

Carolina Herrera designs the dress Bella wears for her wedding to Edward in Twilight: Breaking Dawn 1

Carolina Herrera launches her eyewear collection.

Herrera receives an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY.

Herrera receives The Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion
