Favoring Naturality
Our perfumes contain an average of 90% natural origin ingredients, reaching up to 98%.
100% of the alcohol used in our perfumes is of plant origin.
Additionally, we exceed legal standards: while the EU bans over 1,300 ingredients in cosmetics, we have gone the extra mile to also eliminated additional ingredients that may negatively impact people and the environment.

Crulety Free Beauty
At Carolina Herrera, we have been committed to avoiding animal testing for more than 30 years, adopting alternative approaches to product safety assessment long before regulations required them.
Guided by Puigās Animal Testing Policy, we support the use of non-animal safety assessment methods and have invested in the advancement of alternative testing solutions since initiating the elimination of animal testing over three decades ago.
The business actively supports industry and government initiatives aimed at advancing the global ban on animal testing and accelerating the acceptance of alternative methods. It complies with the European Unionās prohibition on animal testing for cosmetic products and champions the use of scientifically validated non-animal approaches to help ensure product safety.

Responsible Sourcing
For the vanilla used across our Good Girl family and the ylang-ylang used in our Good Girl Blush, Carolina Herrera has partnered with innovative leader in fragrance manufacturing, Givaudan, to cultivate the ingredients in a responsible and sustainable manner.
Collaborating with Givaudanās programs, Sourcing For Shared Value and Sourcing4Good, we ensure not only the preservation of biodiversity and the livelihoods of local communities involved in fragrance production but also innovate methods to upcycle rose water, minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization.

Sustainable Packaging
The Carolina Herrera brand favors recyclable materials such as cardboard and glass. One example of our packaging reduction initiatives is minimizing the coffret's size by ensuring the secondary packaging fits the primary packaging better, thereby optimizing material usage and reducing waste.
We have also adopted FSC-certified cardboard, endorsed by the Forest Stewardship Council, as part of our efforts to use more sustainable materials in our packaging.
