Anne’s look honors this year’s theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, drawing inspiration from André Leon Talley—an iconic Black Dandy and close friend of Carolina Herrera. He was the first to interview her as a designer in 1981 and remained a devoted supporter.

Wes designed a black-and-white crystal-embroidered column skirt for Anne, echoing Herrera’s iconic striped tailoring. A crisp oversized white cotton shirt—cherished by both Carolina Herrera and André Leon Talley—anchors the look, tied at the waist in a nod to the effortless flair of Dandyism.

“It is a moral code to dress well. Whatever your budget — you can wear a white shirt… and be well dressed.”
– André Leon Talley
