Illustrated by Spanish artist Rocio Alvarez, Alex is like any young woman in the modern world, with a calendar packed full of work and fun, and barely the time to get to everything on her list. But as the missed calls from mom pile up, she begins to understand just how vital hearing her mother’s voice — and her mother hearing hers — truly is.
